The name OAK was changed to java because ,once they had a round table meeting about renaming the language and coffees were served to all members in the team and surprisingly the coffee bean's name was JAVA. Then they thought of naming the language as "java". That's y java logo has a coffee cup picture .This is the original story behind the name JAVA...
